Why I set up Vecta

I set up Vecta Search based on the frustrations I had with the way most recruitment agencies operate. Everything is geared around volume, calls made, CVs sent, fees billed. The actual quality of the placement? That often comes second.

By building Vecta, I was able to step away from that. I can take the time to actually understand a business, get to know candidates properly, and get it right first time. That's not me being idealistic, it's just a better way to do it, and the results back that up.

I'm not naive about it either. I know businesses can recruit internally. But that comes at a cost to your time. What I offer is a dedicated partner who takes that off your plate, someone who already knows your team, your culture and exactly the type of person who'll thrive there.

The sectors I work in, M&E, Facilities Management, are industries I know well. That matters. It means I understand the roles, I speak the language and I know what a strong candidate looks like.
